3. Edge of Sanity: Cryptic. Cryptic is the release from Edge of Sanity following the departure of leader Dan Swano. Taking over the lead vocal slot was Robban Karlsson (who also sang under the name of Derelict for one of Swano's other bands Pan-Thy- Monium), who has a similar death growl as Swano but doesn't venture into melodic territory like Dan did on occasion.

4. It´s been 6 years since the release of the preceding album "Cryptic ()". An album which didn´t feature regular frontman Dan Swanö. A dispute over the future musical direction of the band made Swanö split and pursue other projects. Edge of Sanity disbanded in , but Swanö revived the band name in for the release of "Crimson II".

5. Cryptic is the seventh full-length studio album by the Swedish death metal band Edge of Sanity, released on December 1, by Black Mark Production. Cryptic is the only Edge of Sanity album to not feature any contributions from Dan Swanö.
